It's Springtime!

Here in Colorado, spring comes late. It snows as late as May, and winds of 45 mph are commonplace. But the snow melts, temperatures reach 60 degrees, and the grass soaks up the moisture and becomes green in a matter of hours. The cows in the pasture across the road are having their calves, and as I drive with my windows rolled down, I can smell growing things in the air for the first time in six months. I've never felt more alive!
