Today I want to share this neat find. Cute 1930's era photo of actress Nancy Carroll, looking stylish and draped in film. I love this one a lot. While movie stars are made famous by film, it's somewhat unusual to see photos which draw attention to that fact so literally.
Besides, film and early-20th-century being my top two favourite things, how could I not fall in love with this picture? Whenever my real-life problems feel insurmountable, which they do more than usual lately, I can retreat into my beloved movie theater, the Penthouse, a luxurious picture palace which was built in 1929 and has changed little in the intervening years.
